This English language literary tour of Old Town, Vilnius will be a roughly 90 minute walk from the UNESCO House of Literature to various places where writers lived or wrote about, stopping to read their work in translation. Some fictional excerpts will be included, but mostly we will hear poetry. A special emphasis here is on the multilingual and multicultural aspects of Vilnius literature, so we will hear from authors who wrote in Lithuanian, Polish, Yiddish and Russian.
