Vilniaus knygų mugės išvakarėse, vasario 21 d. 18 val. Vilniaus literatų namuose atversime Ukrainos fotografo Jurko Kostyšyno parodą „Mes matome viską“ (Mи все бачимо – tokį užrašą matome ir viename iš parodos darbų).

Jurko Kostyšynas, menininkas ir karys, savanoriškai prie Ukrainos karo pajėgų prisijungė 2015 metais. Šiuo metu jis yra fronte, rizikuodamas savo gyvybe ir sveikata gina tai, kas gyvenime svarbiausia – savo šeimą, šalį ir laisvę.

Net ir karo lauke jis stengiasi fotoaparatu užfiksuoti žemės ir peizažų trapumą, kasdienį žmogaus gyvenimą, rutiną, kurią karas visiškai pakeitė. Fotografija yra jo ilgametė aistra ir tai, kas leidžia Jurko išsaugoti šviesą širdyje.

Parodą atidarys jos kuratorė – Ukrainos poetė, rašytoja vaikams ir iliustruotoja Kateryna Michalicyna. Dalyvaus viešnia iš Lvivo UNESCO literatūros miesto Mariana Zagoruiko. Eilėraščius ukrainiečių ir lietuvių kalbomis skaitys Kateryna Michalicyna ir Marius Burokas.

Renginys vyks anglų kalba.

[ENG] Yurko Kostyshyn is a Ukrainian photographer and a soldier, who volunteerily joined the the Ukrainian Armed Forces first in 2015, and later in 2022 with the start of a full scale Russian aggression against Ukraine. He’s still there now, on the frontline, risking his health and his life to defend what he holds as the most valuable - his family, his land, their freedom. But even there he tries to capture the beauty and fragility of the land and the landscapes, as well as of human existence in its everyday routine, dramatically changed by the war. Photography is his long-termed passion and a thing that, as Yurko puts it, helps to keep light in his heart.
