Gegužės 24 d. (trečiadienį) 17.30 val., kviečiame dalyvauti knygų klubo „LIBER“ susitikime. Knygų klubo tikslas – ugdyti narių literatūrinį skonį, tarptautišką ir liberalią diskusijų erdvę Klaipėdos apskrities Ievos Simonaitytės viešojoje bibliotekoje.
Knygų klubo užsiėmimai vyks anglų kalba Amerikos skaitykloje.
Klubo susitikimus veda rašytoja, vertėja Ignė Ale – knygų „Tarp A ir B“, „Geltona Suknelė“, „Visi vieniši žmonės“ autorė: „Sveiki! Esu rašytoja ir vertėja, Klaipėdoje apsigyvenusi iš meilės šiam miestui ir jūrai. Nuo pat mažens daug skaitau, biblioteka man – itin svarbi ir širdžiai brangi vieta. Drauge su Ievos Simonaitytės biblioteka steigdama angliškų knygų klubą noriu sukurti atvirą, daugiakultūrinę erdvę, suburti smalsių žmonių bendruomenę.”

On May 26th (Wednesday) at 5.30 p.m., we invite you to join us in a Book Club 'LIBER' event. The book club aims to develop the literary taste of the members and create an international and liberal discussion space in Klaipėda County Ieva Simonaitytė Public Library.
The Book Club will be held in English at the American Corner.
Club meetings are led by writer and translator Ignė Ale - the author of books „Tarp A ir B“, „Geltona Suknelė“, „Visi vieniši žmonės“: 'Hello! I am a writer and translator based in Klaipeda. I fell in love with the sea and this city and decided to call it my home. I've been actively reading since childhood, and libraries have always played an important role in my life. By establishing an English book club together with Ieva Simonaityte public library, I wish to create an open, multicultural space for curious people.'
We kindly invite everyone to meet at the book club 'Liber'!
